Tour Plan

Luxor tempel

The Luxor Temple is a large ancient Egyptian temple located on the eastern bank of the Nile in the modern city of Luxor. The temple was constructed for the worship of Amun Ra, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu. The Luxor Temple was built during the reigns of the 18th and 19th Dynasties. The most important existing structures in the temple were erected by Pharaohs Amenhotep III and Ramses II. In ancient Egypt, the temple was known as "Ipet Resit," meaning "The Southern Sanctuary." It is one of the best-preserved and most beautiful Egyptian temples, with a clearly recognizable layout.

Karnak Temple

The Karnak Temple is actually a temple complex, meaning it consists of several temples built by various pharaohs. The buildings at Karnak cover an area of approximately 80 hectares, and the construction of these temples spanned from the Middle Kingdom to the Roman period. During this time, the pharaohs made Karnak the national sanctuary of Egypt, with each ruler contributing to the complex to honor the Theban Triad: Amun (the father), his wife Mut (the mother), and their son Khonsu. The most important temple at Karnak is the Temple of Amun.
