Tour Plan

Colossi of Memnon

The Colossi of Memnon are two massive sandstone statues dating from the 14th century BC. They represent the king Amenhotep III of the 18th Dynasty. These colossi are the only remaining remnants of the king’s mortuary temple, which he built on the west bank of the Nile.

Valley of the Kings

The Valley of the Kings is considered one of the most important archaeological sites in the world. In the past, the Valley of the Kings served as a cemetery where the kings of ancient Egypt were buried. The valley contains approximately 65 rock-cut tombs, distinguished by their magnificent reliefs and colors. The most famous tomb in the Valley of the Kings is the tomb of King Tutankhamun.

Temple of Hatshepsut

It is a mortuary temple from the 18th Dynasty, built by Queen Hatshepsut. The temple is noted for its unique architectural design, consisting of three terraces connected by ramps. In front of the columns on the second terrace, limestone statues of the god Osiris and Queen Hatshepsut were erected. Some of these statues are in remarkably good condition, highlighting the elegance and beauty of the temple. The temple was constructed from limestone.
